Mid-Term Project: Stick Figure Fight

This is my midterm project I did. I was inspired by other stick figure animations I seen a long time ago and thought them to be very interesting and funny. I also used Mortal Kombat as an inspiration as well. I had fun experimenting and using some of what I learned to make something interesting.

Second Walk Cycle: Naruto Run

This is me second walk/run cycle I did. I was inspired by the cartoon called "Naruto". After making my first walk cycle, this cycle was fairly easier. I laid out my Key Frames and then just added in my in-betweens. I worked on keeping my figure on model and my lines clean. One thing I should have done a lot better is the movement of the arms, other than that I'm satisfied.
Drafting and plotting

This is the page I used to plot the rest of my frames so that my figure movement would stay consistent.

First Walk Cycle

For this assignment I had to make a fairly normal walk. The challenges I had were making enough in-betweens. I first started with all the key frames in my walk. This assignment showed me how the body moves. instead of the figure moving along one axis the figure bounces up and down to keep balance while walking.

First Ball Bounce

This my final ball bounce project. This assignment showed me how to space and time each bounce. I also learned how to squash the ball at certain moments to give the bounce some gravity. I wanted to make the most realistic bounce I could possible. This assignment showed me time management and momentum.
